Reusing old items is not a new concept for the students at JH Scholars Academy – Little Pearls School. Coming from humble families with average monthly earnings, it is a way of life for most of them. However, the spirit of Environment Day inspired them to express their thoughts creatively. Guided by their mentors, each group showcased numerous projects that emphasized the 3 R’s (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) using materials available from the school storeroom.
The younger students planted trees, drew pictures, and delivered speeches, further enhancing their English communication skills.
And the 1st prize goes to the parents whose expressions were priceless watching their kiddos work!.
