Introduction
After completion of school (10th standard), the Higher Secondary level education (+2) commands tremendous importance as it lays the foundation for the youth population to transform themselves into responsible citizens armed with basic power of knowledge and enterprise to streamline their energy and vision to choose their desired profession and proceed towards their dreamt goals, implying that a proper and just Higher Secondary level education can neither be ignored nor be overlooked at all. And in the process the quality education has become extremely competitive, both among students and the institutes imparting it as well.
Having had the experience of successfully running an institution like ICA (Institute of Computer Accountants) for last 10 (Ten) years imparting quality education and grooming students along with job guarantee for various corporate as well as other government jobs, our valued Board of Advisors have come up with the incredible idea of starting the JH Scholar’s Junior College in line with the best in the city to cater to the ever increasing need and demand for providing quality Higher Secondary level education with a difference and class apart, and with the collective effort the idea has materialized.

We are committed to provide quality education with the aid of latest tools and techniques, up-to-date study materials, well trained, experienced and competent faculty members, in a most conducive ambience, so as to help the youth population to achieve excellence and shape their own destiny by transforming themselves into responsible citizens armed with power of knowledge, enterprise, energy and vision, and thus, building quality manpower for the growth and development of North East region as well as the nation as a whole.
INFRASTRUCTURE
Classrooms:
We have meticulously designed our classrooms to be spacious, having a comfortable seating arrangement for students as well as the faculty with latest classroom furniture, along with various teaching aids that create the most positive learning ambience.
Library:
We have a well managed and well stocked library which has a rich and substantial collection of subject matter books and reference books relating to the curriculum as well as a good number of national and international periodicals, journals and e-journals, along with a digital cum multimedia knowledge facility accessible to all the students.

(A) Higher Secondary:
ARTS:
Core Subjects: English, MIL (Assamese, Hindi or Alternative English).
Elective Subjects: Three elective Subjects may be offered from the list given below, each of 100 marks.
Subjects Available: Political Science, History, Education, Logic & Philosophy, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Adv. Assamese.
COMMERCE:
Core Subjects: English, MIL (Assamese, Hindi or Alternative English), Accountancy, Business Studies and Banking.
Elective Subjects: Economics / Commercial Arithmetic and Elements of Statistics.
SCIENCE :
Core Subjects: English, MIL (Assamese, Hindi or Alternative English), Accountancy, Business Studies and Banking.
Elective Subjects: Economics / Commercial Arithmetic and Elements of Statistics.
